  • What does the Yunque Ziplining tour include?

  • In what location does the Yunque Ziplining tour take place?
    In the municipality of Luquillo Puerto Rico, about 45 minutes away from San Juan.
  • What age range is accepted for the tour?
    Between 7 and 68 years of age.
  • What are the weight and height restrictions?
    Participants must be under 230 lbs. Waist line must be under 42" to make sure the harness fits securely. If the participants is 70 lbs or less we do a tandem-ride where the certified tour guide goes along with the participant to make sure they make it across the ziplines. There is no height restrictions.
  • When should I make a reservation?
    We suggest booking as soon as possible since there is limited spacing for our tour sessions.
  • What are the payment methods accepted?
    The tours need to be 100% prepaid with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). We do not accept cash the day of the activity.
  • What are your rates?
    Our tour costs $119 per person + municipal taxes. Online reservations are charged a 6% processing fee by Fareharbor. For more details, please read our Terms and Conditions.
  • How do I get to the Yunque Ziplining location?
    We provide roundtrip transportation from the San Juan tourist area for $140 + tax for groups of 4 passengers minimum. You would pay for 4 passengers if your group is of 1, 2, 3, or 4 passengers. Please indicate hotel (or nearest hotel name). Transportation is provided in the front lobby of the hotels and Airbnbs in San Juan. TRANSPORTATION PRICES: 1-4 passengers: $140 5 passengers: $175 6 passengers: $210 7 passengers: $245 8 passengers: $280 9 passengers: $315 10 passengers: $350 Customers have the option of renting a vehicle or have someone drive you there. You can take a taxi (preferably) or UBER. The directions to Yunque Ziplining are posted in our Contact webpage. The GPS address is: YUNQUE ZIPLINING MEETING POINT. This will take you to Road #992 in front of a basketball court which is only 2 minutes away from the ziplining premises. Please stay in your vehicle at the meeting point until you meet our tour guide. You will then follow our tour guide in your vehicle to the ziplining premises. __________________ Please be advised that we generally do not recommend the use of UBER because of the following reasons: • UBER drivers run scarce especially in the San Juan area, so it might be difficult finding one at the last minute. Customers are advised to coordinate with the UBER drivers as soon as possible. • Some UBER drivers will not be willing to drive you all the way to our ziplining premises due to the steep road up the hill. Please make sure the UBER driver waits for our tour guide at the meeting point and is willing to drive up to our premises. • Many UBER drivers will tell you they know where our ziplining premises are located since there are other ziplining tours nearby. Customers are recommended to specify the UBER driver our exact meeting point to make sure they do not drop you off in the wrong location and you end up missing our tour. • UBER makes many mistakes and delays caused by their drivers. • It is sometimes difficult to find a return trip from an UBER driver. It is recommended customers to arrange for pickup and drop-off to ensure a stress-free visit to our premises. We are not responsible if your UBER gets lost, arrives late, drops you off in another location, is late picking you up or does not bring you to the park as our instructions dictate.   • What is the duration of the tour?
    Approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. The zipline adventure is approximately 2 hours in length, plus additional time for check-in, handling of safety equipment, safety chat, training, and hike to our course.
  • What if I am afraid of heights?
    It is not uncommon to have a fear of heights. Many people who have a fear of heights are still able to enjoy our zipline.
  • What to bring to the tour?
    Comfortable shorts, good traction HIKING SHOES (Highly recommended especially if it rains.) or sneakers, rain jacket (optional), water, small backpack, and a big smile. You can bring your camera or cellular and carry it in a dry bag in your backpack. Yunque Ziplining is not responsible for lost items in our premises.
  • Do you operate in the rain?
    Yes, we operate rain or shine. Bring your rain-jacket if you have any. We only cancel due to severe thunderstorms or flooding.
  • How long is the zipline course?
    The zipline course consists of 6 ziplines fluctuating between 100 and 800 ft long, and one 40 ft high easy rock rappel.
  • Do you provide transportation?
    We provide roundtrip transportation from the San Juan touristic area for $60 per person. Please indicate hotel or nearest hotel name. Transportation is provided in the front lobby of the hotels. (If your group is of less than 4 participants please call 787-529-2496 to confirm your transportation.)
  • What if I do not want to go on the tour, but would like to stay in the premises?"
    We do not allow walk-alongs in the tour. The guests which are part of a group doing the tour but are not participating on the tour must stay in the Yunque Ziplining Base Camp area where they can relax in a hammock, read a book, use the restrooms and enjoy the alluring views of the rainforest.
  • Do I have to do all the activities in the tour?
    The activities of ziplining and hiking have to be performed to complete the adventure course in the rainforest. It is the only way to make it across the rainforest safely with the rest of the group. We do not offer packages that only include ziplining. The rappelling portion of the Yunque Ziplining tour can be omitted from the tour.
  • What other attractions can I enjoy near Yunque Ziplining premises?
    For guests not participating in the zipline tour have the option of going horseback riding or riding ATV’s in the Hacienda Carabalí which is just 5 minutes away from us. Also the beautiful Luquillo beach is 10 minutes away. Discover great local food options in the popular Kiosks of Luquillo which are just 15 minutes away. Another great option that you could enjoy after our tour is the famous Bioluminescent Bay in Fajardo located 20 minutes away. The famous El Yunque National Forest, which is a must when you visit Puerto Rico, is just 10 minutes away!
